Introduction
This One day course is for those with responsibilities to reduce manual handling injuries at work and for personnel who regularly carry out lifting tasks in the workplace.

Supervisors and Managers responsible for compliance with the regulations, providing training to personnel at work and for employees who carry out lifting as part of their employment.
Course Aims
To reduce injuries at work by understanding proper manual handling techniques, kinetic lifting theory and practice.
Objectives
At the end of the course, delegates will:-
- Gain an understanding of the Manual Handling Regulations 1992 and the duties of an Employer and Employee.
- Understand the nature of injuries associated with poor lifting and handling.
- Be able to carry out a Manual Handling Assessment.
- Be able to demonstrate correct lifting techniques in the workplace.
