Overview
This four-day course in Emergency First Aid has been developed for those who are working in all industry sectors. The aim of this course is to provide these persons with a sound knowledge and understanding of First Aid procedures.
Benefits to your organisation
Successful delegates will receive an HSE recognised certificate First Aid at Work, valid for a period of 3 years. This training meets the requirements laid down in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Eligibility
In order to receive the First Aid at Work certificate students must be 16 years of age at the time they start the course. However, any student less than 16 years of age may receive an attendance certificate that is neither approved nor recognised by the HSE.

- Session 8 Incident Management
- Session 9 Burns and Scalds
- Session 10 Bones, Muscle and Joint Injuries
- Session 11 Poisoning
- Session 12 Effects of Heat and Cold
- Session 13 Child and Baby Resuscitation
- Session 14 Written and Practical Assessment
